東方裏想園　～ Terminus of Unreal Darkside.

     Touhou Risouen ~ Terminus of Unreal Darkside (東方裏想園, lit. "Eastern Garden of Reverse Thought") is a Touhou Project fan game by Τeam αlternative Σnding. Like most official and fanmade Touhou shooting games, the goal is to shoot down enemies and bosses while dodging complex, artistic arrangements of enemy bullets. Unlike most Touhou games, this one features:

• A widescreen playing field where enemies can come from any direction,
• Several tiers of chargeable bombs that players are encouraged to use liberally-- even during enemy Spell Cards!
• And an extra rear-facing shot for each playable character.

     While the lower difficulties should still be accessible to novice players, the higher settings may be particularly tough to clear. Use your all-seeing viewpoint and sweeping attack range to mow down the enemies that bombard you from all sides!

*This demo version consists of 3 stages, with 2 playable characters and 4 difficulties to choose from. The planned full release will feature 6 main stages plus one Extra stage, and two additional players.

Story

     Despite the bright spring sun blazing high in its skies, Gensokyo has been gripped by the chill of winter. Ponds have inexplicably begun to freeze, plants have begun to wither, and yet the sun goddess's face still shines from high above. It's as if the sun has simply stopped working properly. 

     A mysterious light leads the protagonist to a tranquil valley, where she expects to find some answers-- but will the answers be as straightforward as the incident's surface appearance would suggest?

How to install

Extract the contents of the archive into whatever directory you like, and run th_toud.exe.

Configuration for the program can be performed via config.exe.
